Google Maps Leads Us Astray

What a day!
It started nicely enough. We had a good meal at a roadside restaurant.
And had some nice views on the ride.
After a long day of riding, we arrived at our booked place, only to find out it wasn’t there! Addresses, it seems, are kinda different and Google Maps can sometimes get it so wrong. Today we were led to the wrong place. After long conversations with the owner of the place, we couldn’t establish the location of the place and finally have up. (We surmised the location might actually be far away from where we were at)
We finally booked a motel in the town of Cabrero– by now it was 6 pm– and rode to that nondescript place for the night
This was not the first time Google Maps led us stay.
Thankfully, our host for the next day (Dec. 9) told us that Google Maps will lead us to the wrong place for that day and gave us very specific directions. Our ride to our booked place the next day went fine.
