Puerto Montt (Port Montt) marks the final destination of the first leg of our journey. We arrived on December 24, after a long day of riding. Our hope was to be in a calm and settled place for the Christmas holidays. Our hopes were more than fulfilled.
A Warm Christmas welcome.
We had booked an AirBnb, where we hoped to rest for several days, having fulfilled the first of 3 legs in our bicycle trip. The host had amply decorated the home with various Christmas touches, making us feel right at home for the holidays.
It was a lovely way to end the first part of our ride.
Relaxing Nights
We planned to spend 5 nights here for some needed physical rest, planning Leg 2 of our journey, and enjoying free time without concerns for anything bike related.
