In December, I, along with some friends, toured the central part of Chile, experiencing its towns, culture, and people. It was an eye-opening experience.
We ended that central Chile ride in the town of Puerto Montt. After a few days rest, I set off on the second part of the journey: The Carretera Austral, also known as Ruta 7.
Not everyone in the group wanted to continue on this leg together, so now there are four. But we trek on.
We set off south….
…needing to cross the waters with two ferries, until we are finally into desolate lands.
Until we’re finally into the designated Southern part of Chile. We are riding the Carretera Astral.
