Our first night away from Santiago is at a camp near the town of Isla de Maipo. We stay there four days, waiting for David and Elaine to arrive.
Elaine had fallen sick so was staying in Santiago to rest. Then they rejoined us at the camp and together we prepared for the ride ahead.
